Dr. Valuck is a principal and medical director at Real Chemistry. He is a thought leader on health care system transformation and helps lead the firm's focus on achieving better health and health care outcomes at a lower cost. Dr. Valuck's work includes the exploration of next-generation quality measurement and payment models for health care delivery systems. He has also helped clients develop strategies to achieve success within the value-based marketplace. Dr. Valuck was a partner at Discern Health before that firm was acquired by Real Chemistry. Prior to Discern, he served as senior vice president for Strategic Partnerships at the National Quality Forum (NQF). In addition, Dr. Valuck led NQF's engagement with states and regional community alliances.
Dr. Valuck also served as a senior advisor and medical officer at the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, where he advised senior agency and Department of Health and Human Services leadership regarding Medicare payment and quality of care, particularly value-based payment.
