Dr. Jackman is the Medical Director for Clinical Pathways at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, where he is a senior physician within the thoracic oncology program. His clinical research focused primarily on biomarkers and targeted therapies in lung cancer and mesothelioma. Currently, his attention is largely focused on clinical pathways and their role in cancer care delivery. He received his undergraduate and medical degrees from Brown University, then completed his Internal Medicine residency at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and his oncology fellowship at Dana-Farber and the Massachusetts General Hospital.
