Beth Marie Faiman
PhD, RN, MSN, ANP-BC, BMTCN, AOCN, FAAN, FAPO
Dr. Faiman is dedicated to bringing critical knowledge in cancer nursing to clinical providers locally, nationally, and internationally. She conducts research, and has demonstrated the importance of using and integrating new medical knowledge within nursing practices. She is an advanced practice nurse at the Cleveland Clinic and founding member of the International Myeloma Foundation Nurse Leadership Board. Dr. Faiman is a clinical member of the Case Comprehensive Cancer Center (Case CCC) under the Cancer Prevention, Control and Population (CPC) Research Program. In addition, she has initiated educational forums that bring new knowledge to underserved areas, and she is Editor-in-Chief, Journal of Advanced Practitioner in Oncology, the official journal of Advanced Practitioner Society for Hematology and Oncology (APSHO).
Dr. Faiman has been recognized for advancing oncology nursing in her community, having received the Cleveland's Woman of the Year award, the Case Western Reserve University Dean's Legacy Award for Outstanding Doctor of Philosophy studies, the Excellence in Medical Oncology award and the Oncology Nursing and Patient Education award by the Oncology Nursing Society.
She is a distinguished Fellow of the American Academy of Nursing (FAAN), has served on the American Board of Internal Medicine Hematology Specialty Board and is a distinguished Fellow of the Advanced Practitioner in Oncology (FAPO).
