Dr. Wong is the president of the W-Squared Group, which assists healthcare innovators in developing their value statement and launching their technology in the government and commercial marketplace. Current areas of focus for the W-Squared Group are in tissue and circulating tumor cell genomic profiling in oncology and hereditary risk as well as in the use of biomarkers in other disease states, gene therapy, medical and pharmacy benefit management for self-funded employers, medical/pharmacy outcomes research analytics for payers, employers, and pharmaceutical companies, and the development of clinical pathway in oncology, immunology, urology, and chronic diseases with specialty pharmacy and provider organizations. Disease state focus areas include oncology, immunologic disorders, retinal disorders, and the umbrella of dementia disorders. The W-Squared Group evaluates marketing strategies for new product launches, providing the perspective and potential reaction of a managed care organization to the developed strategy, as well as providing market access training.
Dr. Wong was named as one of the Top 100 Healthcare Leaders in 2018 and one of the Top 100 Healthcare Visionaries in 2020 by the International Forum on Advancement in Healthcare.
