Aymen Elfiky
MD, MSc, MBA
Dr. Elfiky is a medical oncologist who is dedicated to the ideal of physicians as the stewards of value-based care delivery anchored on the health of patients and populations. He has most recently served as a medical director working with the Takeda Data Sciences Institute and Merck, applying clinical informatics, machine learning, and artificial intelligence (AI) methodologies to biometric signal identification, translational biomarkers, trial design optimization, radiomics, and RWE insights. He was previously an academic oncologist at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute and Brigham and Women's Hospital, where he led the initial development and implementation of a clinical pathways platform as well as practice-based evidence in the form of institutional real-world data analytics to inform clinical decisions and drive consensus among clinical stakeholders.

Dr. Elfiky continues his collaborative efforts with the Department of Biomedical Informatics at Harvard Medical School to develop predictive algorithms that can be integrated into clinical pathways and EMR decision support nodes at various points-of-care delivery. He also advises health tech startups as a member of the Merck Digital Sciences Studio (MDSS).
